Attach a lock in four steps
- Open the Attach page and choose Classic, Prestige or Eternity for the effects and placement you want.
- Design your lock with the live preview: pick a shape, a metal finish and a font, then engrave your initials, a date and (on Prestige and Eternity) a vow.
- Pay with Stripe Checkout. There is no account and no subscription.
- You return to the bridge, which flies to your new lock. Share its link, download a story card (Prestige and Eternity), or schedule an email card to send it to someone.
Classic, Prestige and Eternity compared
Every lock is engraved with up to 16 characters of initials and a 15-character date, in a serif or sans-serif font. The tier decides which shapes, finishes and extras you can use.

What is EverloveLocks?
EverloveLocks is a website with an infinite, horizontally scrolling iron bridge. Anyone can buy an engraved digital padlock, with initials, a date and optionally a vow, and have it attached to the bridge's cable where everyone can see it.
Is it a real, physical padlock?
No. Every lock is digital and nothing is shipped. It is a way to take part in the love-lock tradition without damaging a real bridge: real love-lock bridges such as the Pont des Arts in Paris have had to remove their locks because of the weight.
How much does a lock cost?
Classic is $2.99, Prestige is $4.99 and Eternity is $9.99. Each is a one-time payment, with no subscription and no account needed.
What can I customize on my lock?
You engrave initials of up to 16 characters and a date of up to 15 characters, and choose a serif or sans-serif font, a shape and a metal finish. Classic locks use the Classic Square in Aged Brass or Brushed Silver. Prestige adds the Sweetheart and Vintage Keyhole shapes and the Rose Gold, Midnight Black and Crimson finishes. Eternity adds the exclusive Infinity Shackle shape and the 24K Gold Aura and Opal Prism finishes. A live preview updates as you type, and three designer templates (The Parisienne, The Classic Pont and The Eternal Vow) fill in a whole design with one tap.
What is the difference between Classic, Prestige and Eternity?
Classic ($2.99) is a static Classic Square lock in Brass or Brushed Silver with initials and a date. Prestige ($4.99) unlocks all three standard shapes, five finishes, a vow of up to 140 characters, a downloadable 9:16 story card and a metallic shimmer on hover. Eternity ($9.99) is the Anniversary Edition: every shape and finish, a glowing aura, a place on the central Eternity Arch, a story card with a gold badge and an annual anniversary reminder email.
How do I attach a lock to the bridge?
Open the Attach page, design your lock with the live preview (shape, finish, font, initials, date and an optional vow), choose a tier, then pay with Stripe Checkout. You are returned to the bridge, which flies to your new lock.
Where on the bridge does my lock go?
Locks are hung alternately to the left and right of the middle of the bridge, each next to the previous lock on that side, so the bridge grows outward in both directions. Eternity locks hang on an Eternity Arch, an iron arch spanning 1,200 pixels. Arches stand at regular intervals all along the bridge in both directions, and new Eternity locks alternate sides, hanging on the arch nearest the end of the cable on their side. When it holds 15 locks the next arch takes over, so Eternity never sells out.
Does the bridge ever end?
No. The bridge has no fixed length and grows to the right with every lock that is attached.
Can other people read my vow?
Prestige and Eternity locks can carry a vow of up to 140 characters. It stays hidden until someone opens your lock, and then they can read it, so do not put anything private in it. Classic locks do not include a vow.
How long does a lock stay on the bridge?
Locks are permanent bridge placements. Once your payment is confirmed, your lock keeps its place on the cable.
How do I share my lock?
Every lock has its own link that opens the bridge at your lock. Prestige and Eternity locks also come with a 9:16 story card image that you can download and post to Instagram, TikTok or any other story format; Eternity cards carry a gold badge.
Does Eternity send an anniversary reminder?
Yes. Add your partner's email when you buy an Eternity lock and, each year on the anniversary of your purchase, we email a short reminder with a link to your lock.
Can I send my lock to someone as a card?
Yes. After you buy a lock you can schedule an email card to anyone, with your own message and a link to view your lock. It can be sent straight away or on any date up to a year ahead, which makes it a gift or an anniversary reminder. Each lock can have up to five cards.
Do I need an account, and is my payment safe?
You do not need an account. Payments are processed by Stripe Checkout, so card details never touch EverloveLocks servers. The email you enter at checkout is stored with your lock record and is never shown publicly.
